Chief Flight Instructor (Filled)

OK3 Air, based in Heber City, Utah (just 20 minutes from world-class ski resorts in Park City), is currently seeking a motivated Chief Flight Instructor for our flight school.  We're looking for somebody with the initiative to make full use of our great equipment and facilities. We need an independent, driven instructor with the creativity to take our flight school to the next level.

You'll have a full arsenal of flight instruction tools at your hands at OK3 Air.  You'll instruct primarily in our 2005 C172S (G1000) and spearhead our flight training program. As you grow our flight school, you may have the opportunity to expand into the realm of backcountry training in our Cessna T206H as well as some Part 135 Charter flying.

However, flying and instructing are only a small part of this job. You will be responsible for managing flight school resources, expanding our flight school clientele through work with the Director of Marketing, developing budgets for your department, and otherwise coordinating with the Company President as we expand our flight school fleet and resources.

Your personal office is equipped with a PCATD-certified IFR simulator, a SmartBoard interactive whiteboard, and a personal laptop.  Our flight school will be your department to run, with your own instruction and marketing budgets.  To top it off, we can offer you medical benefits.

For this position, we ask that you have a current CFI and CFII with a minimum of 500 hours with no record of accidents or incidents. A bachelor’s degree is not required, but preferred. Experience in backcountry or mountain flying is also preferred. OK3 Air can cover relocation costs if necessary.
