MEXICAN MOUNTAIN

About 100 miles to the south of our Heber base, hidden within the San Rafael Swell, sits Mexican Mountain. The San Rafael River is a stone’s throw from the airstrip and the junipers that grow along the banks make for a great picnic spot on a spring afternoon. In addition to some great hiking trails, there are several examples of ancient rock art that surround the area. This destination makes for an amazing day trip for explorers who thrive on history and beauty.

ANGEL POINT

This destination has something for everyone in a beautiful and isolated location. Angel Point is about an hour’s flight over some of the most spectacular geographic scenery in
the world. For those who love to bike or hike, the Fremont Indian ruins near the mouth of No Man’s Canyon and pictographs and petroglyphs at the mouth of Robbers Roost Canyon are must-sees. And for those who just want an immensely quiet place to spend a day, Angel Point is one of the best.

The Juniper Picnic - a nice option if you just want to relax. The package includes airfare, a catered lunch, and plenty of time to enjoy the surroundings.

The Starry Sky - an overnight adventure that is the only way to experience the immense desert night sky. Adventurous star gazers will love what this destination has to offer.
